Gate Open Hours

The Macquarie Steet gates open at 6am and close at 6pm (8pm during Daylight Savings).

The Westmead gate opens at 10am and closes at 3pm on weekdays.

On Weekends and Public Holidays this gate opens at 6am and closes at 6pm (8pm during Daylight Savings).

Pedestrians may access the park at any time unless otherwise notified.

Parking in Parramatta Park

Parramatta Park operates a Restricted Parking Area Scheme. This means that there are signs that advise drivers where they may park which is in bays marked by arrows. Drivers may receive a penalty infringement notice if they park outside of a marked bay.

The parking bays in Parramatta Park are timed. This means that drivers may receive a penalty infringement notice if they park over time. Some parking signs do not have and times listed for certain days of the week, these signs indicate parking bays but are not limited regarding time except within park open hours.

Parramatta Park has two long stay ticketed car parks. These are located off O'Connell St and beside the Park Office. Vehicles parking in the long-stay car parks must display a current ticket.
