Sydney Symphony in Parramatta Park
The sublime Sydney Symphony Orchestra performs in the Crescent, Parramatta Park. This is a FREE concert presented by Parramatta Park Trust and the NSW Government.
The internationally acclaimed Sydney Symphony concert in Parramatta Park has become a much-loved local tradition. This year the soloist is renowned trumpeter James Morrison, so pack your picnic, deckchairs and rug and join us for a magical night of classical music.
The 2013 program includes Brahms, Koehne Concerto for Jazz trumpet, Rachmaninoff and Shostakovich.

Alcohol is permitted: BYO. Light refreshments available on site.
Please be considerate and bring low deck chairs, tall chairs are discouraged and owners will be directed to the back of the arena.

Getting there
Public Transport: Parramatta Park is convieniently located for access to public transport please go to the Transport Info Line to plan your trip.
Bike or walk: the site is easily accessed and well lit and is safe for walkers and cyclists.
Parking: in the interests of public safety and enjoyment of this concert the park will be Vehicle Free from 2 pm. Convenient parking is available at parking stations around Parramatta. The Hunter St car park will remain open until 10.30 pm for this event.
