Rumsey Heritage Rose Garden
Situated right next to the park’s Pitt St boundary, the site of Parramatta's convict powered lumber yard, the Rumsey Rose garden, is a source of delight especially in the spring when it is in full bloom.
Enjoy a Jazz band; food and refreshments will be available or you can bring your own, spread a rug and picnic in the park.
Parking and Access
The Rumsey Rose Garden is situated in on the left as you enter the Macquarie St Gate off Pitt St.. Turn left into the car park and there is ample free parking as the area is not metered on Sundays. The ground is flat with toilets close by.
